Any DAR member age 18 through 35 years (until her 36th birthday) is a Junior Member. She holds full DAR membership and may serve as an officer or chairman at the national, state, and chapter levels. Why the distinction? The DAR recognizes the Juniors of today as the leaders of tomorrow!
In addition to special events, Junior Members have the opportunity to page at both the Ohio State and National Society's annual conferences. Any member from age 18 until her 41st birthday, who has been accepted as a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, is eligible to page.
Pages assist all of the conference committees and staff responsible for the smooth operation of each conference. They serve as hostesses, errand runners, flag bearers and helping hands to all members in attendance. Additionally, Pages add pageantry to the processions, and, as a result of their participation, gain a greater knowledge of the workings of the Society.
Our Junior members Elizabeth Roby, Eleanor Slugg, and Taylor Slugg have served as Pages.
